I love Halloween!

Ever since I had kids, Halloween has become my favorite holiday. Sure, there's nothing significant and meaningful about it, like Christmas and Thanksgiving, but it sure is fun! I love seeing my kids' faces light up when they receive a ton of candy and realize they can eat as much as they want. Halloween has become much more than just a one-day affair. It's more of a week-long blitz, starting with Monday. For FHE, we made sugar cookies in the shape of ghosts and pumpkins and frosted them. On Tuesday, Kate gets to dress up in her costume for dance class, and they have a little party with cookies and punch. On Wednesay, Kate gets to dress up in costume again for her preschool Halloween party. Then on Thursday, all the kids get to go trick-or-treating at Melaleuca. Later that night, they get to go to the neighborhood trunk-or-treat and carnival at the church. Then, finally, on Friday, it's officially Halloween and the real trick-or-treating can begin. Here are some pictures of our family pumpkin carving night and of the t-shirts I made with some friends. Yes, we tie-dyed the shirts ourselves and painted on the pumpkin faces!

I can totally comment! Sorry I didn't do this earlier! By the way, I love your cute tie-dye shirts -I'll have to ask you how you did that - but I love Kate's expression in the pictures where she's wearing them even more!

Tell Mac looks great in the curly wig. I haven't blogged in a long time. I love all of your pictures. I need to catch up on my blogging. Love you!

I love the blog. Katie looks like she might have been inhaling something (candle fumes) in some of those pictures! Very cute. Made me smile, smile, smile.
Love you.

Believe it or not but candy is better all at once rather than through out a period of time, but how can you say no to such cute kids:)
