Mother's Day

Mother's day was great. After breakfast in bed, the girls insisted I open my presents. So after much enthusiasm on their part, I opened them and thanked everyone profusely for spoiling me. At this point, Kate sighs, "I wish it was Children's day. When is it going to be Children's day, Mom?" I told her that everyday is children's day, but she didn't believe me. She will when she's a mom, though.

It's true. In Brasil there really is a Children's Day holiday, but I definitely don't think we need one!

My son said the same thing! "When is it going to be boy's day, Mom?" And I told him the same answer, that everyday is boys day.

I remember thinking the same thing when I was a kid. I get it now. I hope you are doing well. I did read Stiff - LOVED IT - different but a a fun and thought provoking read. Three other ladies from my book club read it and we are going to do our own discussion with it seperate from the regular book club. I can't wait. Thanks for the recmendation.

You must shop at Costco too. :) My little daughter has the same pink dress your oldest has. What cute girls.
